Something for everyone in June!
There are lots of exciting events this month, but without a doubt the biggest event of all is the Coeur d'Alene Ironman on June 24. Several hundred extraordinary athletes will test their will and endurance with a 2.4 mile swim in Lake Coeur d'Alene, followed by biking 112 miles before topping off the day with a 26.2 mile run! The finish line on Sherman Avenue in downtown Coeur d'Alene is a must-be place for the excitement and inspiration of watching as these athletes realize their dream.
For a comprehensive calendar of things to do and places to go in North Idaho this month, go to www.fyinorthidaho.com.
We'd love to hear about some of your favorite summer events and activities in North Idaho, so comment away!

Welcome to North Idaho!
The 2007/08 edition of The Guide to North Idaho will be on the stands and in your hands on Memorial Day weekend. We've spent the past year traveling throughout our own North Idaho backyard to gather the information you'll need to enjoy the incredible outdoor recreation during your visit. From where to stay, what to see and do and maps to show you how to get there, The Guide to North Idaho and companion website, www.fyinorthidaho.com are where you'll find it all.
We want to hear from you!
